W-sit

A sitting pose where the thighs are parallel, and the knees are rotated so the calves lay on the floor outside.

The extreme of this is a T-sit, where the calves run in a straight line, still lying on the floor along their length. At this extreme, hip mobility is mor important than knee mobility.

Kandasana is possible with the calves rotated between the thighs.

Frog stretch is when the thighs are in a straight line.
