===== Finders Fee Dynamics =====

The artist Performs. The artist is not typically responsible for puting their performance in front of a paying audience. There are intermediaries working to do so, and by doing so, themselves earn an income.

This extends to online forums. People that put content in front of your eyes without pointing to where you may be able to get more extract their own finders fee - an 'insider' reputation.

This is not necceserily negative; these people are facilitating your entertainment, and hopefully, directing some income to the artist.

If the artist has no chance of benefiting from the presentation though, Yikes.

Note: this does not cover the costs of supporting the artist - venue, transport, presentation and the like. Everyone involved deserves compensation, in whatever combinaton of "one time" and "residual" is agreed.
