Stall Bars

Ribbstol (Swedish), Creditied to Pehr Henrik Ling

Also: Swedish bars, Swedish wall, wall bars

Stall bars are a set of round wooden or metal dowels, capable of supporting significant weight, mounted parallel to the floor in frequent intervals.

They are mounted to the wall with an offset, and sometimes also to the floor for more stability.

The “stall” is similar to bathroom stalls, (or really, barn stalls) one performer per vertically divided section, so several can use a wider structure, with multiple vertical dividers, at the same time.
