A standing pose, A [[Front split]] with a [[backbend]]. The performer balances on the front leg, and backbend towards the rear leg, and has caught the leg in their hands. The raised leg is a straight as possible at the knee.

A [[poses/Scorpion]] is similar, but the raised leg has its knee bent significantly.


A Floor Needle is the same pose inverted; instead of the wight being supported by the legs, it is supported in a partial [[cheststand]].
