Shoes specifically made for protection of the foot during [[poses:pointe]].

While they can be mass produced, a lot of effort is made to "break them in" so they behave according to the dancer's preferences.

Can be seen as a progression of [[equipment:ballet shoes]], but really shouldn't be.
