===== Freeze =====

Holding a pose, without the appearance of movement, for an extended period - long enough to register with the audience that it has been held - before proceeding with the choreography.

While usually tricks in themselves, freezes are points that invite audience response, similar to punctuation in a sentence.

The number of freezes dictates if an act is perceived as fast or slow - the more freezes and the longer the freezes, the slower the act is. The extreme of this is the [[living statue]] act.
